Now that I am settled I have had a chance to sort out my own photos from Montreal--> Ottawa--> Winnipeg --> Calgary and illustrate some of the stories I have been telling. This set is from my Sunday in Montreal with Giles and Kirsten. From the famous speciality stores and markets at Marche Jean- Talon (with the obscure root vegetables without labels, to Giles trying to select a cheese to take back to New York, "But there are sooo many !!!", to a late afternoon lunch at Schwartz's Jewish delicatessian and cafe.
It was a great day. Thanks again to Laura for helping me load up these photos and all the rest you will see from now to Calgary.
