If you've seen the film, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" then you're partway to understanding what I saw when I walked into Toontown. Imagine stepping into a cartoon, where the walls and roofs on buildings are sloped and brightly coloured. There is a saloon and police station and a fire station to deal with the path of destruction expected from fictional cartoon gangsters and criminals. The whole place has a Looney Tunes feel about it (which I actually think is Warner Bros).
It was in Toontown that Bec and I both found cartoon houses we would like to own, resembling cottages from the Snow White story and tripped over a whole lot of 3 year olds running on sugar and junk food who were about to hit that late afternoon wall of overtiredness. We skipped the kids' rides, for fear that our legs were too long and we might not physically fit into the seats and headed back into Fantasyland.
